Privacy policy

Denis Zaitsev built the Log4Fit app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Denis Zaitsev and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in my Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at Log4Fit unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

Today, the only data that leaves your device is usage analytics. Your training data (workouts, skills, and approaches) is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to my server.

For a better experience, while using my Service, I collect usage analytics events. These include:

• App information: name, version, build number, and environment;
• Device information: platform (iOS or Android), operating system version, locale, and timezone;
• Session information: a random session identifier that changes each time you start the app;
• Interaction events: screen navigation, button taps, form submissions, and the values you enter, such as weight, repetitions, and custom skill titles;
• Error diagnostics: error messages, stack traces, and related context when the app encounters an error.

This information is sent to my backend server and stored to help me improve the Service. It is not linked to an account, because account sign-in is not available at this time.

Log Data

My server records standard request logs for each connection. These logs include the request method, path, response status, duration, and your device IP address. I use this information to operate and maintain the Service.

Data Storage and Retention

Analytics data and server logs are stored on servers hosted in Germany by Hetzner. I retain analytics data to understand and improve the Service over time, and I have not set a fixed retention period. If you want your data deleted, contact me at [email protected] to request deletion.

Service Providers

I use third-party services for the following reasons:

• To deliver over-the-air app updates (Expo);
• To distribute the app through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Expo receives the device and app information needed to deliver updates. Apple and Google receive standard store data according to their own policies. These providers have access to only the data needed to perform their tasks, and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Security

I value your trust in providing me your Personal Information, thus I am striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.
